26,000 square foot recreational facility in the Hawk’s Prairie area of Lacey, WA. This project was completed in a 3-week timeframe.

Returning for the Interior
Following our successful repainting of the buildings’ exteriors, the facility managers invited Lucatero Painting LLC back to repaint conference rooms, their fitness center, and a large pool room.
Conference Room #1
We worked on creating consistency in this conference room.
The walls were covered in patches, creating difficulty when applying a fresh coat of paint. Generally the inconsistent texture and color of patching requires multiple coats.
We standardized the texture and color of the walls, cutting around the mirror carefully to create a quality finish.
Conference Room #2
In addition to needing similar care to create consistent coverage over multiple patches and clean edging around windows, this massive conference room also boasts sliding dividers.
We carefully cut the paint around the dividers and ceiling-mounted lights to keep the edges clean, and the dividers without paint sprinkles.
Fitness Center
The fitness center also presented a number of wall patches requiring more thorough coverage. A peculiar wall texture provided a little additional complication, but nothing Lucatero Painting LLC couldn’t handle.
In all, this room took three coats due to the patches and unusual wall texture.
JCA Indoor Pool
This portion of the project required special consideration. Pool rooms are really humid, and they need special paint. We brought in an expert from Sherwin-Williams to look at the project and help us decide on the appropriate paint and materials.
Masking and painting a pool room is extra difficult because you can’t use spray paint. Instead, we carefully applied the paint with back rolling – taking utmost care over the uncovered pool.
